Kigali attorneys Advancing Our Expertise in International Trade Law and Governance Across Africa

Kigali Attorneys & Partners Ltd is proud to celebrate our Senior Associate, Ms. Nina FOPING, on her selection to the 2026 She Governs Trade Development Program of the Trade Law Centre (tralac).

The She Governs Trade Development Program is a continental initiative designed to strengthen the technical trade, leadership, and professional skills of women working in trade policy and governance across Africa. Through specialised training, peer learning, networking, and mentorship, the programme contributes to building a strong network of women professionals advancing rules-based and inclusive trade governance across the continent.

Ms. Foping’s selection reflects her growing expertise and professional commitment to international trade law, trade governance, business law, the AfCFTA, and Africa’s economic integration. As a Senior Associate practising with Kigali Attorneys in Rwanda, her participation also contributes to strengthening our firm’s capacity and Rwanda’s broader professional engagement in the evolving African trade landscape.

For Kigali Attorneys & Partners Ltd, this achievement reinforces our commitment to continuously developing expertise capable of supporting businesses, investors, policymakers, and other stakeholders navigating cross-border trade, regional integration, and the opportunities presented by the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

We extend our sincere appreciation to Miss. Trudi Hartzenberg, Executive Director of tralac, and the entire tralac team for their continued investment in developing African trade professionals and creating platforms where emerging expertise can grow, connect, and contribute meaningfully to Africa’s trade governance.

Congratulations, Ms. Nina Fride Moyo Foping. We are proud to see a member of our legal team representing Kigali Attorneys and contributing from Rwanda to this important continental network.

We wish her a successful and impactful journey throughout the programme.
