Gatera Yambona Floribert is a Seasoned Lawyer with a distinguished career spanning over 16 years, He work at Kigali Attorneys and Legal Consultants Partners LLP as Senior partner, before joining the private practice in 2014, He served as Military Judge for the Rwanda Military Tribunal since 2006 up to 2013 where he has been involved in many criminal cases.

During his career, He also served as the chief legal advisor to the Rwandan Regiment deployed in Darfur (Sudan) under the United Nations African Union Hybrid Mission in Darfur Province (2010).

He holds a bachelor of law degree (LLB) from National University of Rwanda. Floribert also
holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from Institute of Legal Practice of Development.
He has an extensive experience in handling experience in public interest litigation matters,
commercial transactions, criminal and anti-corruption matters.
